Now more than ever, we need to cherish and raise awareness of what we hold dear.  As a photographer with a deep love for the natural world, I strive to capture the beauty of our world for those who don't have the opportunity or ability to experience it personally, and so future generations can continue experiencing pride and wonder for this great land.

I am the youngest of five boys in my family.  My father was a career officer in the United States Army, so consequently we lived internationally and experience many cultures and environments before returning to the United States.  I attended the University of South Dakota where Mass Communications: photography, film and television production was my major and I minored in Fine Arts.  I met my wife in college and raised my two children in South Dakota.  In 2012, my children having begun their own adult adventures and finding myself single, I decided to embark on a life of adventure, traveling full time across the United States, exploring and photographing the American wilderness and paying my way through sales of my images.

Each of my photographs tells a story of time and place along my journey.  I am excited to share my great adventure with you.
